PAINFULLY PERFECT GOODBYES

At Atypical Pet Crematorium, it’s not just about saying goodbye; it’s about cherishing the journey you’ve shared with your pet, and ensuring their final chapter is handled with the utmost care and love. We’re here to support you, to listen, and to provide a peaceful farewell that honours the special bond you and your pet shared.

TAKE A BREATH & LET'S LOOK AT YOUR OPTIONS

Pet loss is complex enough without adding to this, so we believe that in you answering these three simple questions, you can get a clearer idea of what you want.

No. 1: Would you like to bury your pet? (please note within the UK this can only be undertaken by either owning the land or with the relevant permissions).

No. 2: Would you like to retain the ashes of your pet? With numerous options to remember your pet using their ashes, or should you wish to scatter their ashes, this option is achieved through an Individual Cremation.

Should you not wish to receive the ashes of your pet, this can be achieved via our Communal or Pack Cremation.

No. 3: Would you like your pet to pass at home, or in your vet practice? I truly believe a home euthanasia is the right choice for both you and your pet. The safety and security derived from familiar surroundings at such a difficult time is essential to be entirely yourself and present during the euthanasia; allowing you the space and time before a final goodbye.

Before you decide we think you should know...

  •

You can have your pet collected from your home or you can choose for the vet to keep your pet whilst you arrange for us to collect him/her.

  • At Atypical we offer both Individual and 'Pack' cremation services.

  • We understand how devastating it can be to loose your pet. We appreciate the difficult decisions that need to be made at a time when the last thing you want to do is talk to someone, you just want to be left to grieve your loss.  That's why we  offer a free Planning For The Perfect Goodbye Pack. It sets out your wishes and authorises us to act on your behalf.

  • We appreciate you want the best for your beloved pet & we also understand the financial strain it can place you under which is why we offer a payment plan, please contact us for more information.

Let’s start by recognizing that if your reading this, it’s likely you are a loving, caring pet owner that wants the best for their friend at the end of their short lives on this planet and have found me in your search. Pet loss is hard, very hard and it’s supposed to be… The pain is a direct correlation of our love and I can’t and wouldn’t want to take that away from you. What I can do, however, is promise you a painfully perfect experience and the reassurance that when they needed you the most, for the very last time; that you did everything you could.

So what are we left with? The answer to this varies, but what we all share, is a broken heart and a pet sized hole in our lives. While I can’t perform miracles, I can ensure that your pet will be treated with the same love and care they have experienced from you their whole life, and that you will be reunited as quickly as possible, so we can close the circle and focus on moving forward.

If this sounds like the sort of thing you would want for your pet, have a look around the site and if you need any further info or want to speak to me or one of my colleagues directly, please don’t hesitate to pick up the phone. I’m a talker not a typer, but I also understand that doesn’t work for everyone, so get in touch using our socials or email on this link

What Our Clients Say

"I have to thank you for your caring, professional, kind and quick service when my daughter sadly lost her beloved bunny unexpectedly.  You really do make this sad time easier. It was late and the weekend when I contacted you but it was no bother for you. I would definitely recommend you in the future"

Vicki Louise, Bunny Owner, Facebook

"Despite having planned a few days of being extra spoilt before we had to say goodbye, I had to make a quick decision in the early hours of Friday morning.

Ashley was kind, accommodating and completely understanding of the situation.

We were given time to be with her before we said goodbye and she took her final journey.

Molly came home today, after a brief stay at Atypical. I could not be more grateful for the empathy and kindness shown.

Thank you Ashley"

Hollee, Molly's Mum, Facebook

"Ashley provides a kind, caring, thoughtful service at the same level as a human funeral director. He met me at my vets just after I had helped Muffin to the Rainbow Bridge and respectfully collected her. She was available to collect within a short space of time compared to other pet crems and totally individually dealt with.

As someone with many years experience in the human funeral industry myself I was impressed with the service given throughout. Finally she was returned to me in a uniquely designed local pottery urn which could be put on display anywhere in the home.

Thank you Mel"
